Printer-friendly version

The first meeting about building a local, physical space for entreprenuers, as part of the Innovation Commons (see my previous post announcing this, as well as check out the wiki) takes place on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, at Take 5 Cafe space that is being donated after hours by the owner, Dean Punzo.

There is already an impressive list of supporters -- please add your name even if you can't make it to Wednesday's meeting.

We'll be brainstorming on how to move this project forward, and the New Enterprise Development team will ask for feedback on a survey, as well as help in promoting the survey.

Dig the big idea ...

I could *really* use such a venue now. Anyhow, in considering the big idea, I have a few "hard questions" to bring the table as well as a few ideas on how to help pay for the set-up of the place (maybe). As long as the next meeting is not the same night as a Canucks game or a killer concert, I'll be there with spiels and anecdotes.

After hours for me is 2AM

If these meetings are all going to be after normal work hours, I won't be able to participate much, considering that's the time I start work. What about Saturday/Sunday events?

On the night of both...

...the Feist concert and the Canucks first game in 18 months? You entrepeneurs are harshing my mellow. That's a 6:30pm start, by the way, should anybody be too lazy to visit the wiki.

Sorry Darren

I'm obviously not a hockey guy nor an indie music guy. You've outed me :P
