Australia is good. I live in Brisbane, which doesn't have very much to offer, but is still pretty nice and relaxed, actually in some places rather bogan. North Queensland (esp. the Whitsundays and especially Whitehaven beach) and Melbourne are amazing. There is some things to do but it isn't quite crazy paced everywhere. But I don't think I'll even ever see everything if I tried hard to. There are loads of beautiful places too!

What was the gang war like? Did you see it up close? I have seen the movie 'City of God' in which a hurrendous drug-related gang war takes place throughout the entire film, and was wondering how realistic it really was. So many of you agreeing that Capetown is a nice place...Personally, I have never cared much for South Africa. If you want a real taste of the continent try out Tanzania or a country that has a little more to it than racisim and oppression.
