The Siemens Gigaset 2415 is one of the few things that I bought from eBay. It's a 2.4Ghz multi-handset system, and I have the one with integrated digital answering machine. The thing is, I have to keep carrying the manual around, because I always forget how to use some of the features.

So, the important thing to remember is that INT - 9 will get you into the TAD menu, which has a bunch of options including "Turn off answering machine"

2 seconds later... Or, you hit the big button on the base unit that has the international symbol for on/off on it (you know, the circle with the line in the middle). Ya. That works too.
