I like to read Tim Bray because he has so much different stuff that he writes about. I keep thinking that I will start using the front page to put all my "personal" blog items...but then I reconsider, and think that I like the separation. Makes me think a few moments more before I put something on the front page.
Anyway, Tim is writing about some new usages that he had never come across before. One I've been using for quite some time, so I was surprised to see that he had never heard of it:
