Upcoming has a way to *reconfigure* your event feed. Here's a link directly to the pipes page for this feed.
On the fly remapping and merging of arbitrary structured data coming out of feeds? So, um, wow.
And yes, Not For Humans™. But still, deeply cool.

Now, if only...
Yahoo Pipes would solve the profound sorting issues with the generated feeds. I believe competing RSS standards (and non-standard feeds) are to blame, but it's nearly impossible for an ordinary guy like myself to merge feeds and be certain that the newest items added will appear as the newest item in the feed.
Date formats
Yep, in part a feed format issue....but more closely related to *date* format issues. Major programming languages still have issues and edge cases where date formats and conversions just fail.
