Apple Borked Me Again

So the new power supply I bought, it's borked. The glow ring that says "you are charging/ your battery is full" is always glowing green; well, unless I unplug the thing.
Is this covered by warranty Greg Graham?

( breaking B's rules of continuity by posting here but Greg Graham prolly reads this site more than mine )

Sad state of technology.

If there is a warranty, it will be described in the box you purchased. Unfortunately, I don't think there is one, but check anyway.

Power adapters are to most companies what ink cartridges are to printer manufacturers - a nice little profit grab to tide them over. For example, some companies have power adapters with two components, the adapter and one cord, and a second power cord that is removable to add longer extensions - however, NOBODY sells the individual power cable, you need to buy an entire new adapter, or when they are available you pay a mint.

I can blow out the adapter for you at our cost, but if there's a warranty, bring it back and I'll do everything to see if we can replace it, because that isn't regular.

Ah, yes, the box...

By which you mean the small rectangular cardboard shaped thing that I recycled seconds after getting home and charging my "sleeping" iBook? I mean, who keeps the boxes for these things except....mac....users.....erm. yeah. This would explain why there are so many technofetishists selling Apple kit "still in the original box" on ebay.

Yeah, so I don't have that particular bit of packaging anymore so if you could be so kind as to look for me that would be most excellent.

whooops!

sorry about that Gre...Graham. This it the problem with people using cryptic user names, I forget their real names...

Your benevolent dictator

Luckily, under my benevolent dictatorship, I have the power to go in and make those types of changes :p

(mmmm...what with Greg asking about spidering and me wanting to see smileys, I'm tempted to do a fresh install of the newest version of Drupal; perhaps a test is in order this time, so I can save all this content; some sort of export function would be good...ah, rambling...)
