EGADS could be configured a number of different ways:

• Attachment size
  All attachments greater than X KB / MB get removed
• Sender/recipient
  Particular sender or recipient addresses could always (or never) have attachments removed
• Type of file
  Such as Word, PPT, etc.
  Potentially also the option to convert documents to a different format, such as HTML or PDF
  With security, some users might only be able to access the "converted" format instead of the source document
• Number of recipients
  If an attachment is sent to more than X recipients, it gets removed
  Vice versa as well -- less than Y recipients, never removed
• Order of Operations
  These configurations would actually be an ordered ruleset, with different weighting as well
  Could apply to groups of users
