Drupalcon DC 2009 happens March 4th to 7th in Washington, D.C. My "day job" is no longer primarily Drupal, so I'm looking for sponsors to help me attend the event. Please consider donating via the Chipin widget below.

I'm curious as to what will happen with the chip'd-in money if you don't reach the full $1000 or for whatever reason can't make the conference anyway.
...this was not meant to go to the front page AT ALL, but rather in prep for a longer post. Ah well.
The short answer is that once you "chip in" the money transfers and can't be sent back. If I *don't* reach my goal / don't go to Drupalcon DC, I'll donate the money to the Drupal Association.
