[image:643,left,5,5]Boris Mann grew up in BC, living on Bowen Island, which is situated in Howe Sound and is just 15 minutes from Vancouver by ferry.

Back in 1993 - 1994, he sailed around the world on the S/V Concordia as part of the Class Afloat program. He still hasn't gotten around to digitizing all his slides, but you can read a little about the trip.

When he came back, he flipped a coin between going to cooking school and going to school. School won, and Boris eventually ended up at UVic.

Turns out biology isn't all about swimming with dolphins, so the Computer Science Co-op program (thanks, Toni!) is where he landed. After some successful work terms and some successful school terms, he moved to Ottawa in January of 2000.

Boris still likes cooking, plays Ultimate and disc golf, and likes going camping and other such travel adventures. Use the feedback form to get in touch.
