A description of some of the planned features.

• Reminders

  Through the buddylist feature, you can be sent an email reminder of when your friends have birthdays.

• FOAF generation

  Using member profile information and buddylists, will be able to auto-generate FOAF profiles. Maybe even FOAF-explorer type stuff.

• Profiles as nodes

  Member profiles will be nodes. Will be able to leave comments on a profile.

• RSS feeds per date

  Will be able to subscribe to the RSS feed for a particular day, whether it is one specific day (e.g. February 22, 1975) or just a day of the year (e.g. February 22). All profiles with birthdays on the day will be listed.

• Famous people

  Notable personalities from history and current times.

• Various Google tricks

  Associated search results, images, etc.

• Contact info updating

  As well as being notified about upcoming birthdays on your buddy list, also get notified when their contact info changes (email address, mailing info, etc.)
