New OS

I am at the early stages of exploring what a new operating system would look like. Some of the elements would include a capabilities-based security model, atproto service accounts (like iCloud but open), Local First capabilities at the OS level, agentic integration1. It would target RISC-V.

The Modal Collective What is Modal? is perhaps the most similar concept I’ve seen to date, although they are explicitly targeting a smartphone form factor.
