It’s July 2026, and I’m about to head to Berlin for DWeb Camp Berlin 2026 and Local-First Conf 2026.

  • We just finished shipping AtmosphereConf 2026 t-shirts and there are still a few follow-ups and reports to do to wrap the conference. Yes, we really need to get started on AtmosphereConf 2027
  • After I help ship Local-First Conf Lab Day for Ink & Switch, we’re planning how to support our big ARIA UK government-supported grant for the next 18 months - new team mates, new projects, and thinking through an arc slightly longer than the lab’s usual 12 month funding cycle. Malleable Software a big topic, as well as “safe” AI, and the evolution of Local First to include local first
  • The local AI hardware project ZAI has come along really nicely. Will move into a phase of looking for some funding
  • Slowly working on how to form, govern, and fund Atmosphere Community Co-Op
  • I’m easing into being fully equipped for agentic coding — read my blog post about how things kicked off BMC Next with Agentic Coding
